WHY TEACHERS?

While growing up,  I often gathered children around me to teach them.  As little as I was, I already had the passion for teaching but then when it came to choosing a course in the university, I was so into studying medicine.  My mum constantly told me that my calling was into teaching but i stubbornly kept taking my mind off it but God has a way of doing things. Today I am an educationist and I'm proud to call myself a TEACHER.  Many times, we allow the society to define us but we must take the bull by the horn and begin to define the society.  Yes many people find themselves to be teachers possibly because there was no job to do or what.  Many people are teachers but yet they are grumblers. How do you expect to teach perfectly well and expect your students to learn well when you are constantly complaining. My findings show that 65% of teachers are not happy with the profession.
