WHY TEACHERS?

While growing up,  I often gathered children around me to teach them.  As little as I was, I already had the passion for teaching but then when it came to choosing a course in the university, I was so into studying medicine.  My mum constantly told me that my calling was into teaching but i stubbornly kept taking my mind off it but God has a way of doing things. Today I am an educationist and I'm proud to call myself a TEACHER.

Many times, we allow the society to define us but we must take the bull by the horn and begin to define the society.

Yes many people find themselves to be teachers possibly because there was no job to do or what.  Many people are teachers but yet they are grumblers.
How do you expect to teach perfectly well and expect your students to learn well when you are constantly complaining.

My findings show that 65% of teachers are not happy with the profession. They are not motivated most especially because of the PAY and then they don't like the profession. Most of the teachers are just in the profession cause they don't want to be bored.

The fact that you are a teacher whether by Choice or by Force, you must keep it to mind that the future generation depends on you.  You are not just a Teacher by coincidence.

This Foundation must be corrected.  As parents,  we constantly shut our children up when they say they want to be teachers.  Please let's not do that.

WITHOUT TEACHERS, THE WORLD BECOMES HOPELESS. Teachers are the pathway for every individuals (Janet Adeogun,  2020)

I greatly applaud many teachers who are Ardent Believers of Teaching.

Janelle Cox  explained that there are many reasons to love being a teacher. Oftentimes it’s hard to remember when you are burned out, but it’s also easy to remind yourself of why you chose a teaching career. Teaching is one of those professions that keeps you on your toes and keeps you young at heart. It allows you to use your brain and continue learning each day, sometimes through a variety of professional development methods. It’s a profession that allows you to be creative, and work with a variety of different people. Each school day brings with it a new beginning. Now, how many jobs can you say can do that?

So, if you find yourself going through a little teacher burnout, just watch for some A- Z principles, I'll be unfolding soon

Parents, it will be of great help to you too

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
