Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.

We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider.

I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION."

Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise:

Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and worry every night about tomorrow’s meal. Why? Because they trust their parent. In the same way, God is our Father, and we can trust Him to provide.

Jesus Himself told us not to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear.

Matthew 6:31–32 – “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”

Why worry, when your Father already knows you need them? Instead of filling your heart with fear, fill it with faith. The same God who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field is the same God who cares for you.

Matthew 6:26 – “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

When the Israelites walked through the desert, they had no farms, no shops, no markets. Yet, God gave them manna every single day. He was their provider. That same God is still alive today. If He could feed millions in a dry desert, He can surely take care of you.

Psalm 34:10 – “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.”

So today, let your heart rest. Instead of saying, “What if I don’t have enough?” begin to say, “The Lord is my provider. I will not lack.”

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being my provider. Help me to trust You more and worry less. Open my eyes to see the many ways You are already caring for me. I choose to rest in Your promise today. Amen.

Life Application:

Each time worry rises today, whisper Matthew 6:32 to yourself: “My Father knows that I have need of these things.” Write down at least three ways God has already provided for you, and let that truth quiet your heart.

My hands in yours.

Please share your testimonies in the comment section.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...
