Day 4 of 30: The Lord is My Strength

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing great today.

We have walked through Day 1: The Lord is my Portion, Day 2: The Lord is my Provider, and Day 3: The Lord is my Shepherd. Today, we move to another powerful truth: The Lord is my Strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” These words remind us that when we feel weak, tired, or helpless, God’s power steps in and carries us.

Let me share a small story. For weeks now, someone who used to share a premium editing app with me suddenly ghosted me. Yes, I usually paid him for it. I really needed to use the app, and at first, I felt stuck and worried. But in the quietness of my heart, I searched through some of the groups I belong to. Then boom—I stumbled on the same apps I needed, and this time, I got them cheaper than what I used to pay! That was not just luck. That was God, my Shepherd from Day 3, leading me to something better. It was also God, my Strength, helping me not to give up.

Sometimes strength is not just about lifting heavy things or running far. Strength is also about not breaking down when life gets tough. It’s about having the courage to keep going when the road feels hard. And that strength does not come from us—it comes from God.

Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” That means when you feel overwhelmed, He is near. When you feel tired, He gives power. When you feel like quitting, He whispers, “Keep going, I am with you.”

Isaiah 40:29 also says, “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” This is the God we serve. He never leaves us to fight alone.

So today, don’t measure your strength by how much you can do. Measure it by how much you lean on God. Because in your weakness, His strength is more than enough.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my strength. When I feel weak, remind me that Your power is working in me. Help me to depend on You daily and not on myself. Amen.

Life Application:
Whenever you feel tired or weak today, whisper these words: “God is my strength.” Write down one area of your life where you feel weak right now, and ask God to fill that space with His power.

Tons of Love

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
