Day 24 of 30: The Lord is My Potter

Greetings Beloved,

Reflection: He shapes me into His masterpiece.

Verse: But now, O Lord, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. – Isaiah 64:8

Our 30 Days Jesus is Enough for Us journey has been so amazing. Every day, God shows us a new side of His love. From being our Portion, Provider, Shepherd, Strength, Peace, Healer, Helper, Refuge, Rock, Comforter, Light, Redeemer, Friend, Hope, Rest, Father, Shield, Song, Teacher, Defender, Deliverer, Reward, and Banner—today He comes close to us as our Potter.

A potter takes clay that looks ordinary, even dirty, and begins to shape it with gentle but firm hands. At first, the clay may not understand why it is being pressed, stretched, or broken down. But the potter sees the finished masterpiece long before it is done.

That is how God works with us. Life sometimes feels like a spinning wheel. We feel stretched, broken, or pressed. It may hurt. It may be confusing. But the truth is, God is shaping us. He is molding us into His perfect design.

We are not accidents. We are not useless. We are not just random pieces of clay. We are in the Potter’s hands. And in His hands, nothing is wasted. Every trial, every pain, every delay, every joy—He uses them all to form something beautiful.

 Life Application

Today, stop fighting His process. Trust the Potter. Even if you do not understand, whisper, “Lord, I am clay in Your hands. Shape me into what pleases You.” Believe that His hands are gentle, His design is perfect, and His timing is right.

You are not finished yet. The Potter is still at work.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being the Potter and for holding me in Your hands. Sometimes I feel broken, pressed, and stretched, but today I choose to trust You. Shape me into the person You want me to be. Let my life bring glory to You. I rest in Your design, knowing that in Your hands, I am becoming a masterpiece. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
