Day 10 of 30: The Lord is My Comforter

Greetings to you Beloved,

Everyday gets better.

Reflection: His Spirit brings warmth to my weary soul.
Verse: “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

This journey of “The Lord is Enough for Me” has been a blessing day by day.
On Day 1, we discovered God as our Portion—our true inheritance.
On Day 2, He was our Provider, supplying every need.
On Day 3, He became our Shepherd, guiding us with love.
On Day 4, He gave us strength when we felt weak.
On Day 5, He calmed our storms with His peace.
On Day 6, He healed us with His power.
On Day 7, He reminded us that He is our Helper.
On Day 8, we found refuge in His safe arms.
On Day 9, He became our Rock, steady and unshakable.

And today, Day 10 reminds us: The Lord is my Comforter.

There are times when life feels too heavy. Smiles may hide tears. Words may fail. Silence may feel loud. Yet, even in such moments, God’s Spirit whispers softly, “I am here.”

I remember a day when my heart felt so weary. No one seemed to notice, and I didn’t even know how to explain the weight inside me. In quiet prayer, I said, “Lord, hold me.” I can’t fully describe it, but His peace wrapped around me like a warm blanket. That is what the Comforter does—He lifts the weight we cannot carry.

And here is the beauty: the comfort we receive is not for us alone. God comforts us so we can comfort others. Your story of being held by God may become the hope someone else needs tomorrow.

Life Application

If your heart feels heavy, pause and say, “Lord, You are my Comforter.” Give Him your tears and your silence. Write down one situation weighing you down, and let His Spirit bring you peace. Then, look for someone else who is hurting. Share a word, a prayer, or even a smile—the same comfort you’ve received can flow through you.

Prayer

Father of mercies, thank You for being my Comforter. Thank You for seeing my tears and calming my heart. Wrap me in Your love and remind me I am never alone. Lord, help me to share Your comfort with others who are hurting. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Tons of Love

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
