Day 19 of 30: The Lord is My Teacher

For all you are Lord, we say thank you.

Greetings to you Beloved of God.

Reflection: He leads me into wisdom and truth.

Verse: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. – Psalm 32:8

This 30 Days Jesus is Enough for Us journey has been life-changing. Each day reveals a new picture of who God is. We have walked with Him as our Portion, Provider, Shepherd, Strength, Peace, Healer, Helper, Refuge, Rock, Comforter, Light, Redeemer, Friend, Hope, Rest, Father, Shield, and Song.

Now, on Day 19, we meet Him as our Teacher.

There is something powerful about having a Teacher who knows everything. A good teacher doesn’t just fill your mind with facts—they guide you into wisdom. They walk with you, correct you, encourage you, and patiently explain what you don’t understand. That is what God does for us.

In Psalm 32:8, He promises to instruct and teach us in the way we should go. Think about that for a moment. The God who created the universe offers to guide us with His own eye. He sees ahead, beyond what we can see. He knows the traps, the shortcuts, and the safe paths. And He is willing to show us if we will only listen.

Sometimes, life feels like a classroom filled with difficult lessons. We don’t always understand why things happen. We don’t always know the right decision. But in those moments, the Lord whispers, “Let me teach you. Let me show you the way.”

His teaching is not just about knowledge—it is about transformation. He teaches us patience when we want to rush. He teaches us kindness when we want to fight. He teaches us faith when fear is loud. He teaches us forgiveness when bitterness tries to take root.

Life Application

What lesson is God teaching you right now? It may not be easy, but it is for your growth. Instead of resisting, open your heart. Ask Him, “Lord, what are You showing me in this season?”

Remember, He is not a harsh teacher waiting for you to fail. He is a loving Teacher who walks with you through every step. He explains again when you miss it. He guides gently, with His eye on you.

Let today be a reminder—you are never learning alone. The greatest Teacher is with you.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my Teacher. Thank You for guiding me in wisdom and truth. Open my ears to hear Your voice and my heart to obey Your instructions. When life feels confusing, remind me that You see the way ahead. Teach me patiently, shape me lovingly, and lead me into Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
