Day 21 of 30: The Lord is My Deliverer

To God alone be all the Glory!

Reflection: No chain is too strong for Him to break.

Verse: The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. – Psalm 34:17

Sometimes life feels like a prison. Not a physical one with walls and bars, but chains of fear, shame, guilt, addiction, worry, or battles that seem endless. There are moments when we feel trapped, unable to move forward, unsure if freedom will ever come. But the good news is this: the Lord is our Deliverer.

To deliver means to rescue, to set free, to bring out from darkness into light. That is who our God is. He is not only strong enough to save us, but He is willing. He does not leave us where chains try to hold us. He hears our cries and He comes running with power in His hands and love in His heart.

Think of Paul and Silas in prison, their feet locked, the doors shut tight. Yet at midnight they prayed and sang praises. Suddenly, the foundations shook, the chains broke, and the doors opened. That is what happens when the Deliverer steps in—no chain, no prison, no power of darkness can resist Him.

Sometimes we think our struggles are too deep or our past too heavy. But God reminds us that no matter how strong the chain seems, He is stronger. His love is stronger than shame. His mercy is greater than guilt. His power is bigger than fear.

When we cry out to Him, He does not turn away. He comes with deliverance. He opens doors no one can shut. He breaks chains we cannot break on our own. He lifts us out of pits we thought would bury us forever.

Life Application

Today, ask yourself: What chains are holding me back? Is it fear, pain, doubt, or a secret battle? Don’t hide it from God. Cry out to Him. Lay it before the Deliverer. Believe that He can break it. Trust Him to set you free. And when He does, walk boldly in the freedom He gives.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my Deliverer. Thank You for hearing my cries and setting me free from every chain. Break every power of darkness in my life and replace it with Your light and peace. Teach me to trust You completely and to walk in the freedom You have given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
