Day 11 of 30: The Lord is My Light

Greetings to you Beloved of God, trust you are doing well today.

Reflection: Darkness cannot cover me because He shines within.

Verse: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

This journey of “The Lord is Enough for Me” has been so rich. Each day God has shown us who He is.

On Day 1, we found Him as our Portion—our true inheritance.

On Day 2, He became our Provider, meeting every need.

On Day 3, He was our Shepherd, leading us in the right way.

On Day 4, He showed up as our Strength in weakness.

On Day 5, He spoke peace into our storms.

On Day 6, He healed our wounds as our Healer.

On Day 7, He helped us when we looked up to Him.

On Day 8, He became our Refuge, our safe hiding place.

On Day 9, He was our Rock, steady and unshakable.

On Day 10, He wrapped us with His love as our Comforter.

And now, Day 11 reminds us: The Lord is my Light.

Light changes everything. Even the smallest candle can drive away deep darkness. That is what God’s presence does. His light shines into our fears, our confusion, and our hidden pains. Darkness cannot win where His light is.

David knew this when he said, *“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?”* He had enemies, battles, and betrayals, but he refused to let fear control him. Why? Because God’s light made the path clear, even when life was uncertain.

Sometimes, our lives feel like a tunnel—full of shadows, no end in sight. But when we turn to God, His light breaks through. He shows us the next step, even if we can’t see the full road ahead. And His light is not only around us—it shines inside us, bringing courage, peace, and hope.

Life Application

Are you facing a dark season right now? Maybe fear, worry, or confusion? Pause and whisper: “The Lord is my Light.” Read His Word—it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Trust Him to guide your steps.

And don’t keep the light to yourself. Let it shine through kindness, encouragement, and truth. Your light may be the reason someone else finds hope today.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my Light. Thank You that darkness cannot cover me because You shine within me. When fear rises, remind me of Your presence. Guide me step by step and let Your light shine through me to others who need hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Tons of Love

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
