Day 5 of 30: The Lord is My Peace

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today.

Over the last few days, we have walked a beautiful journey together:

Day 1 reminded us that the Lord is our Portion.

Day 2 showed us that the Lord is our Provider.

Day 3 reminded us that the Lord is our Shepherd.

Day 4 taught us that the Lord is our Strength.

And today, Day 5, we see another gift: The Lord is my Peace.

Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Peace is not just the absence of noise or problems. Peace is a calm heart in the middle of noise, storms, and challenges. The world can offer quick comfort—maybe money, fun, or distractions—but it cannot give lasting peace. Only Jesus can give the kind of peace that stays, even when everything around us shakes.

Think about when you are worried or restless inside. It feels like a storm in your heart. But the moment you bring that worry to God in prayer, something happens. The storm doesn’t always disappear, but His peace comes and covers you like a gentle blanket. That peace tells you, “It is well.”

Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” This means His peace is stronger than human logic. You may not be able to explain it, but you can feel it. You just know deep inside that God is in control.

In life, storms will come—family challenges, health struggles, financial worries, or even silent battles no one else sees. But the good news is this: the Lord is your Peace. He calms the storm inside you first, and then gives you courage to face the storm outside.

So today, don’t let fear or anxiety rule your heart. Let the Prince of Peace, Jesus, guard your mind. Remember, His peace is not temporary—it is deep, lasting, and real.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Peace. Calm every storm in my heart today and help me to rest in You. Amen.

Life Application:

Whenever you feel troubled today, whisper this: “Jesus is my Peace.” Take a few minutes to breathe deeply, pray, and let His peace flood your heart.

Tons of Love

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
