Our Hope

Many years ago we had analogue telephones of which we popularly called landlines in this part of the countries, I still remember our telephone number 062233270 (Wow! Thumbs up to me). Same periods, we had post offices where letters were written, stamped and sent to the different recipients. Later on in life, my dad brought in a fax machine, it was so exciting to see letters rolled in from another country into ours in the comfort of our homes. Yes, after those periods, there was introduction of emails where we no longer had to pile up papers in the office, my dad replied his mails immediately. It made his works easier. We had analogue typewriters of which you had to eat well before using them and your fingertips will so painful, later we had electric typewriters which was easier to use later on computers came into place. I can go on and on.
I still remember how we had to move from one cafe to another looking for how to get connected to the world via the internets. Now we don’t need to run anywhere, we can hook up to the world from the comfort of our homes.  Hmmmmmm… it was ask.com then but now google.com, wise geek etc have taken the lead and other search engines. I remembered those days when 2go reigned now WhatsApp, palm chat, Facebook, zoom, twitter, Instagram, telegram and other social media handles have decided to connect families and loved ones together and have really kept many bonds held together.

Is it the educational sectors, so many things have changed, now we have online schools where we don’t need to travel far and wide to gain knowledge. We have so many online resource materials that have being of great help. I remembered straining my eyes and stretching my neck to look out for books in the libraries (Hmmmm… Kaduna national library really knew they had a silent patronize from me, lols and unijos library) those days I will have like 6-10 books on my table in the library looking for information but now all you need to carry out your researchers are just clicks away.

In the health sectors, there are many advanced ways to doing things many of which I know nothing about. Is it the mode of performing surgeries? So many more!

Few years ago, we were never bothered about the food we eat, we ate almost all with great joy and satisfaction. In recent times, we have been given so many rules on what to eat and what not to eat. Many times we are afraid to eat some certain fruits or meals because we have read so much that the fear of being sick makes us stay away.

We had donkeys, men walking long distances as means of transportations those days now we have cars, airplanes, trains, ships etc. Even the cars, airplanes, trains and ships we have nowadays are in different categories based on their natures, sizes, functions, speed and other modes.

As far as we are living in this world, knowledge will keep increasing and every knowledge has great impact in the lives of many positive or negative. Science will keep creating confusion. Technology will continue to be too complex to understand.

COVID 19 has really created so many awareness and fears in the heart of so many. The pandemic has shut down so many activities in the world at the same time, airports closed, businesses closed, schools closed, markets and grocery stores are partially closed. Suddenly hugging, shaking of hands became taboos and social distancing came to stay. So many rules we deliberately ignored suddenly became enforced to be part of our lives like washing of our hands regularly, the way we cough or sneeze and many more. Sincerely our lives will never remain the same again after this pandemic. Hand sanitizer many never knew exist became our rescue agents.  It became so bad that when we touch any surfaces or money we rush to wash our hands. Sincerely our lives will never remain the same again after this pandemic. The cure for Covid 19 became so complicated that many health workers are confused.

While still battling with COVID 19, the issues of 5G, ID2020 erupted. These have caused debates and many people are afraid. So many people think 5G is the cause of COVID 19 and so many conspiracies here and there.

Whether we like it or not 5G will have harmful effects just the way other Gs have had on us. Radiations have been known to have harmful effect on humans no matter how tiny their emissions are. There were times we were told even before 4G or 5G came into existence that we should not receive calls with our left or right ear, I can’t remember now, we were told to keep the phones away from us at night, our eyes were getting affected thank God for dark modes in facebook and other browsers I am enjoying now.
Recently, it became very strong that we should not receive calls in the kitchen that our phones can cause explosion. All these precaution methods came in before the stories of 5G became scary. I can’t start mentioning so many effects cause I don’t want to bore you. 5G has so many many advantages just the way it has its disadvantages
Many people are saying that 666 is here, the antichrist is coming up and mark of the beast (ID 2020).

My resolutions still remain and I have had to tell many people around me that as a child of God:

1. As far we will be on this earth before Christ comes, don’t get yourself worried and scared, our prayers should be all things must work together for our good and to the glory. Don’t forget the word ALL… If 5G will work for the glory of God in my life so let it be. Nothing I say nothing can pluck me away from the hands of. No Scheme of man can ever and will ever pluck me away from my Father. 5G must be used to the glory of God if God decides to bring to place. God’s will must be done. Jesus had the choice not to go to calvary but he subjected Himself to the will of God as he said Let God’s will be done and not His.

2. God is not sleeping, he has the power to remove kings, anyone who wants to stand in the way of God, God will do it Himself, How? It shouldn’t be our concerns.

3. The Tower of Babel still came so strongly to me few days back, the people then kept building the tower with the aim to seeing God and possibly to be like God but God cause confusion to be in the midst. Our voices may never count but all we need to do is to allow God to handle situations his own way. It seems God is silent but be assured he is not asleep, he knows what he’s doing.

4. No one can come up and make himself look as though he’s in charge of the world while we as God’s children are still here, while we are gone to heaven let him or her proceed. God will never and I say never allow man to take His glory. China are in the process of making artificial sun but they are joking.

5. Christians, why are we like this, we keep bombarding ourselves on the social media. Can we see that the devil wants to cause distractions in the body to Christ. But the devil is a liar, the Church will keep marching on and the gates of Hell will never prevail over our lives. Please let us keep praying for our pastors, none of them will miss it. Until we come together in unity of faith with one heart and mind in Christ, the Great Awakening will never come to pass. Prayers will go long way but we must come together. Denominationalism will continue to stand in the way of Christians.   (Note: 1 Cor 3:1-9 Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly — mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? 4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men? 5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe — as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. 9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.)

6. I know I am weird, if 5G will propagate the gospel so be it. Whether we like it or not, after this pandemic most people will be scared to go to social gatherings because of the fear that have been instilled in the heart of men. I applaud many churches who have long made the gospel so handy through the internet, live stream messages, go live during church activities, technologies have made this possible. So let the gospel keep spreading whichever means.

7. Nothing I mean nothing will kill us if God has not permitted it. So keep calm and enjoy yourselves in the hands of your father.

8. All we need to do is to keep basking ourselves in the light of God’s presence as we showcase His glory here on earth.

9. Whether 5G or not, the purpose of God must be fulfilled in our lives.

10. What I say to myself, I say to all Be Heavenly Conscious and Focused.

11. Antichrist and it’s activities will never come to play until we have been raptured that is those who have genuinely given their lives to Christ. I am not a bible scholar so please prove me wrong and I will be readily available to learn
Watch out for Part 2 (Life After Covid 19)...

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
