NO BIG DEAL: ASK FOR HELP

Hmmm... I had confidently told my husband that I know the train station well, he asked me again if I knew the place, I still told him, "I know the place." The day came when we were to pick up our parents from the train station. I was excited and confident enough. I started showing him the way and then boom the roads were confusing and then in my head I knew that I had being uselessly confident🤣🤣🤣🤣 Then he said something that I have always carried around with me since then. He said, "Don't feel you know, don't be too big to admit you need help."Those words struck, then he went on to say that, "if you had told me that you don't know the way, we would have called someone to come with us and we won't waste fuel and time."

Really, our lives are like this, we are going round and round and round doing the same thing and yet no result. Since we don't see results, we conclude we are not good enough and that people don't care about you. People are not spirits you know, you have to talk to them.

In this year, 2022 be intentional about certain things. After we picked our parents, they wanted to go somewhere in town, they asked me if I knew the place immediately the big girl in me stoop low and said, I don't know the place. Immediately, my parent brought out his Phone and straight to Google Map and boom we were directed to to the place. No waste of them.

In asking for help, be careful so you don't get misled.

Who are you asking help from?

If nothing happens after asking for help, what will you do?

Many times, God is always made an alternative. Most times we pick our phones instead of first talking to God. God is our helper. So first, ask him then He will lead and direct you.

Then, you go ahead and ask further help as God leads you. You have lots and lots of people, books, devices to help you positively.

These 9 days into 2022, I know how much I've gained after I ask for help especially in my digital skills.

Help will come don't be discouraged.

We all have a lot to learn. God will lead and guide you.

Don't be too big to ask for help?

Don't be afraid to ask for help?

Consciously and prayerfully ask for help.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
