Day 29 of 30: The Lord is My Eternal Life

All thanks and Glory belong to God.

He is YAHWEH

Greetings to you Beloved.

Reflection: Because of Him, I have everlasting hope.

Verse: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. – John 11:25

We are almost at the end of this journey, and today we see Jesus as our Eternal Life. This truth changes everything.

Life on earth is short. Days pass quickly, people come and go, seasons change. But in Christ, there is a life that never ends. A life that cannot be stolen by sickness, pain, or even death. This is the gift of eternal life.

When Jesus spoke to Martha in John 11, her brother Lazarus had died. She was grieving, her heart broken. But Jesus looked at her and said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” He was not only promising to raise Lazarus; He was declaring that He Himself is Life. Whoever believes in Him has a hope that goes beyond the grave.

This is the core of our faith. Our hope is not limited to what we can get on earth. Our hope stretches into eternity. Because of Jesus, death is not the end. It is the doorway into everlasting joy with Him.

This is why we can face tomorrow without fear. This is why we can live boldly today. Because we know that our lives are safe in His hands—not just now, but forever.

Eternal life is not just about what happens after death. It starts the moment we believe in Jesus. Right now, we can enjoy the peace, the hope, and the fullness of His life flowing through us.

Life Application: Take comfort today in this truth—you have eternal life in Christ. Let that assurance remove fear, sadness, and anxiety. Live with joy, because your future is secure in Him.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Eternal Life. Thank You that in You, I have hope that never dies. Help me to live each day with eternity in mind, and to rest in the peace of knowing that nothing can take me away from Your love. Amen.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
