Day 1 of 41 Thank you Lord for  Creating me in Your image

 One thing I have observed is that we have unconsciously ignored this aspect of thanking God for creating us in his image.

Many times, we even tell God he would have made us this way or that way.

Be Intentional about this, thank God for creating you in His image.

While thanking God for creating me in His image, I remembered a song we sang as children:

                    If I were a butterfly

                    I’d thank you, Lord,

                    for giving me wings;

                   And if I were a robin in a tree,

                   I’d thank you Lord,

                   that I could sing;

                  And if I were a fish in the sea,

                  I’d wiggle my tail and

                  I’d giggle with glee;

                  But I just Thank You Father,
                  for making me – ME!

                  ’Cause you gave me a heart and

                   You gave me a smile

                   You gave me Jesus, and

                   You made me His Child

                   And I just Thank You, Father

                   For making me – ME!

God created and brought other creatures to the world by speaking his words but then when he got to man:

“Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, all the earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth." ( Genesis 1:26)

We have been granted a special position and a divine dignity as people since we were made in God's image. It implies that God has distinguished us and created us as unique beings in this universe. As Christians, we must never overlook the importance of this unique honour that God has bestowed upon the entire human race. This is the more reason why you should thank him for creating you in His image.

Meaning - You are special

  • Imagine if we were mosquitoes, we would have been killed with only a Big Clap🤣🤣🤣
  • Imagine if we were lizards, we would have been chased around and we will be wondering around basking under the hot sun and if possible we would have been killed with stones.

But God in his infinite Love made us unique and special in His image.

- We have unique unequal fingers and toes

- We have great and beautiful Nose

- We can talk and laugh

-We can even cry to express our emotions.

I can go on and on

Right now, look at yourself

Go check yourself in the mirror and then say 'Dear Lord, thank you for creating me in your image'

Don't forget Psalm 139:14;

(KJV translation) I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

(Message Translation) I thank you, High God - you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration - what a creation!

Consciously and Intentionally, begin to thank God for creating you in His Image.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

 A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
