Day 2 of 41 Thank you Lord for every second Breathe to stay alive

Few years ago, we looked at the story of creation in children church. I asked the children to act out God creating Adam. Hmmmm... What strucked me was the Lifeless Adam. Adam would have been lying down there without doing anything if God had not breath his Breathe into him.

I am not sure of the cost of oxygen in some countries but in  certain  hospitals  in  Nigeria, adults are  given  oxygen  at  a  rate of N4,500 per hour, while children receive itat a rate of N3,000 per hour.

From the above,

For adults:

In a day, oxygen will cost 108,000 naira
In a month, it will cost 3,240,000 naira(for 30 days)
In a year, it will cost 38,880,000 naira

Now imagine if we are to pay for oxygen to survive. How many of us would have been able to survive?

Oh! How ungrateful we are. At this point we all need to ask God for mercy. We need to ask Him to forgive us.

Haaaaa... you breath in and out freely and yet you still complain for big things and then fail to thank God that you are breathing in and breathing out.

Genesis 2:7, KJV: “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Prayer:

Thank you Lord for the precious gift of every breath I take in and exhale.
Lord, in  order  to  survive,  I  need  to  breathe.
Father, I am so grateful.
It is not my right to enjoy the free gift of your beathe, but you blessed me freely.
I am so sorry for taking this for granted
Thank you Lord for every second Breathe to stay alive

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
