Day 5 Thank You Lord for the Mistakes that Taught and are Teaching me

"Oh No! I keep making the same mistakes everytime."

"Why must it be me to make these great mistakes?"

"I don't like making mistakes."

These and more are words we've said or heard people say. These are common statements.

My eyes was opened to many things even as I keep reading and exposing myself to experiences of life. Now life becomes more simple and easy for me to weary myself.

We have often become really hard on ourselves when we make mistakes. Sometimes we end up not forgiving ourselves. Mistakes will always happen but what are your reactions after making such mistakes.

One thing I realise is that I must genuinely thank God for the mistakes I've made in the past. Yes I'm saying it again, I'm thankful to God for my past mistakes cause the lists below are benefits of mistakes. These are my own perspectives.

Until we get to a point of being thankful for our mistakes we will keep killing ourselves and then depression starts coming in.

BENEFITS OF MISTAKES

1. There are a lot of things that people don't know, and most of the time, making mistakes allows us to learn something new. 2. Mistakes assist us determine what is important and what is not.

3. The fights with low self-esteem  can  sometimes  consume  us  from  the  inside out. We may  learn  more  about  our  ideals through learning from our mistakes.

4. Mistakes can help us learn more about other people. 5. Errors serve as a reminder of our humanity. The  act  of  writing  is  a  prime  illustration. Most  of  the  time,  we fail to  cross our Ts  and dot our Is.

6. Mistakes motivate us to strive for  improvement, which benefits us all.

7. The majority of the time, we have the need to prevent others from making the same mistakes that we have. You can  see  how making mistakes makes us more compassionate towards ourselves and others.

8. You won't believe me, but mistakes will let us  learn  how important  forgiveness is.

 9. Because no two persons are the same, I continually find it offensive when others compare themselves. Personally, I don't compare others since I am aware of how painful it is. We can  better pace ourselves when we make mistakes.

10. Mistakes may act as a warning.

What are the mistakes you've done, why kill yourself? Look at the benefits of mistakes and then be thankful for them

My mistakes no longer eat me up, they've become instruments to make my life better.

Tons of love.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
