Day 14 of 41 Thank you Lord for all the Highs and Lows

I have never thought of these words before but while writing today these words came to me, "Have you ever wondered why we have WORDS AND OPPOSITES? It is because life is in TWO FACES." It is certain that as humans we must face two difference phases of life at different times. No wonder we have moments when we cry and moments when we laugh. This indeed is scriptural as we see in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (KJV) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

In all of these phases of life they are summed up into two phases, the HIGHS and the LOWS. These are part of our lives.

What a divine arrangement, in our Church Women Fellowship we have Bible in one year challenge, today's passages are Psalm 90-92. Psalm 92:1 says, "It is good to give thanks to God and to sing praises to His Name, O Most High.

Romans 8:28 made us to understand that ALL things work together for good to them that love the Lord.

For the fact God is aware of everything that happens to us then we have every reasons to give him thanks.

Abraham experienced the highs and lows and many other people in the bible.

God is GREATER THAN all the HIGHS and the LOWS so we must give Him thanks at all times.

Be intentional

Father,
Thank you because you know everything about me,
Thank you because you are aware of my highs and lows.
Thank you because you gave me the grace and strength to face them.
Yes, some days were not easy and pleasant but then you Love and mercies kept me.
Thank you Lord because YOU ARE GREATER THAN my Highs or Lows

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves.
