Day 21 of 41 Thank you Lord for the times of weeping and great mornings of Joy

Father, thank you for taking us this far, we are more than half way gone. Thank you Lord for the strength so far.

Psalm 30:5 says, “Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning.” This passage serves as a gentle reminder that despite our difficulties, joy will return to our lives someday.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 (KJV) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance

While going through these two verses, I kept asking what's the meaning of verse 1 then I got the answer. Andrew W Roebert wrote, "there is a season (a period of time) for all things but there is also a time (an instant, when something happens) for all things. Seasons are well understood, but the 'TIME' aspect is more difficult to grasp and understand." When we look at more verse from Ecclesiastes 3, we will see that it is certain as humans that we pass through different stages in life, some pleasant and some not pleasant.

An assurance is found in Psalms 31: 15a that our times are in God's hands. This should remind us that God knows everything that happens to us, he knows our names, he sees each tear that fall.

He can't be questioned, He does things to please Himself and to give glory to Himself.

I Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Can we really give God thanks in every situation especially the ones that brings so much pains and tear? Indeed, we must understand that God knows all and he understands each phase of our lives. God Himself moves in mysterious ways.

In order not to offend God, GIVE HIM THANKS.

Thank you Lord for the times of weeping, times I refused to understand why I was made to weep, times I constantly asked WHY ME? Thank you Lord because you didn't strike me down when I refused to accept, I even stayed far because I asked why should bad things happen to good people. Thank you for great mornings of Joy.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
