Day 17 of 41 Thank you Lord for Blessing me more than I deserve

People value what they buy with their money, they hold it tight and they guard it well and they will quote that money answereth all things. I clearly understand this.

The Blessing of the Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow to it.

In my little journey in this life, I am aware that there are Blessings that money can buy and Blessings that money can't buy. Most times we concentrate on the blessings money can buy and constantly ignore the Blessings money can't buy. Whichever blessings, we do not deserve them.

Blessings money can't buy may appear very little but they are the bigger parts of our lives, without them we are nothing.

Hmmmm... blessings money can't buy include amidst many;

  • sleeping and waking up (do you think it is your alarm that woke you up?)
  • Salvation of our souls
  • Peace of mind
  • Joy
  • Wisdom no matter how small you have
  • Knowledge
  • Understanding
  • Journey mercies no matter how short the distance
  • Rain
  • Sun
  • Air we breathe (We dealt with this in Day 2)
  • Ability to use the toilet
  • Ability to feed yourself
  • Ability to drink yourself

Father, I thank you for the blessings I don't deserve that you have given and are giving me.  Father, thank you because every good and perfect gift comes from you. I am grateful beyond words.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
