Day 25 of 41 Thank you Lord for Deliverances

In the Bible, Jesus is known to have performed miraculous acts of deliverance. He healed the sick, blind, and deaf, cast out demons and evil spirits, and even raised the dead. Some of the most notable deliverances by Jesus include:

1. Healing the blind: In John 9, Jesus healed a man who was born blind by spitting on the ground, making mud with the saliva, and putting it on the man’s eyes.

2. Calming the storm: In Mark 4:35-41, Jesus calmed a violent storm that threatened to sink the boat he was traveling in.

3. Feeding the 5000: In Matthew 14:13-21, Jesus miraculously fed a crowd of 5000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish.

4. Healing the paralyzed man: In Matthew 9:1-8, Jesus forgave and healed a paralyzed man who was brought to him by his friends.

5. Raising Lazarus from the dead: In John 11, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, four days after he had died.

These deliverances by Jesus are a testament to his power, compassion, and love for humanity.

What stops you from thanking God for delivering you from all sorts, seen and unseen.

I praise you and thank you, Lord, for all the times you have delivered me from troubles and trials. Your hand has always been on me, protecting me from harm and leading me to safety. You are my rock, my refuge, and my shield. You are the one who makes a way where there seems to be no way. Your goodness and mercy follow me every day of my life. I am so grateful for your faithfulness to me. Thank you for being my Savior and my King. In your name, I pray. Amen.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
