Day 27 of 41 Thank You Lord for Your Promises

W. E. Vine says that a promise is "a gift graciously bestowed, not a pledge secured by negotiation

God's promises are seen as powerful and comforting messages of hope and faith. These promises are as follows:

1. Promise of salvation: This is the promise of eternal life with God, offered to all who believe in Him. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

2. Promise of protection: Many religious texts contain promises of protection from harm or danger. For example, Psalm 91:11 states, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

3. Promise of guidance: People of faith look to God for guidance and direction in their lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

4. Promise of provision: Many believers turn to God for their daily needs, and there are promises of provision throughout the Bible. One example is Philippians 4:19, which says, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

5. Promise of forgiveness: God promises to forgive those who repent and turn away from sin. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

These promises and many others provide hope, comfort, and reassurance to those who believe in God.

There's nothing we did or are doing that made or will make us partakers of God's promises. God's promise is simply a Gift. His promises are YES and Amen.

Can we just thank for all of God's Promises? Thank Him for ones He has fulfilled in times past, thank Him for the He's fulfilling then thank Him for the ones He will fulfill.

Whether things are pleasant or not pleasant for you, we have a mandate to cheerfully thank Him.

God you are awesome, thank You because you are just starting with me. Thank you for So many promises you have fulfilled and are fulfilling and will fulfil. Thank you Lord for answering the little whispers of prayers I wished for in my heart. You are too much. Thank you because the devil cannot hold me bound.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
