Day 22 Thank you Lord for Answered Prayers

Thank you Lord, we are more than half way gone in this 41 Days Gratitude Challenge. Everyday Gets Betterm

Pst. EA Adeboye said in the day 2 of the ongoing RCCG Convention, "one of the benefits we get from being saved is ACCESS to Unlimited Answered Prayers." When i heard these words, I screamed because I knew I'll be thanking the Lord specifically for Answered prayers in few days.

God indeed answers prayers, He does by giving a YES, a NO or a WAIT answer. In all of these He knows the perfect one for us at any point in time.

When He tells you YES, it means the answers to your prayers are immediate.
When He tells you NO, it means the answers to your prayers shouldn't be answered or what you pray for is not for you.
When He tells you WAIT, it means the answers to prayers needed to be on hold at that very moment.

Few months ago, while studying I had a clearly understanding that when God tells me NO at any given time, it means He has a BETTER YES later for me.

Romans 8:28 says, "All things work together for good to them that love the Lord..." When the bible says ALL, it is ALL.

Whichever way God chooses to answer your prayers, you have to give Him thanks.

Thank him for the PAST Answered Prayers meaning thank Him for what He has done before.
Thank Him for the PRESENT Answered Prayers meaning thank Him for what He is doing.
Thank Him for the FUTURE Answered Prayers meaning thank Him Him for what He will do.

Dear Lord, thank you so much for loving me too much to give me the best answers to my prayers. Yes, there were times I didn’t understand why you chose not to answer my prayers some times, thank you because You know what is best for me. Thank you because I know that when you tell me NO now, it means you have a BETTER YES to me LATER.

Day 1 of 30: God is My Portion

A recent song has really hit me, “OLUWATOSIN, JESUS IS ENOUGH FOR ME.” Each time I listen, my heart whispers back, Yes, Lord, You are enough. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to want more—more success, more money, more recognition. But deep down, the only true satisfaction comes from God Himself. That’s why I’m starting this journey: 30 Days of “The Lord is Enough for Me.” Every day we will look at one truth about who God is—our portion, peace, strength, and joy. Come along, and let’s rest in Him together. Day 1: God is My Portion There are times in life when we feel like something is missing. Maybe it’s money, friends, success, or even peace. Sometimes our hearts whisper, “If only I had this or that, then I would be happy.”*But the truth is this—things fade, people change, and life is never perfect. Yet, in the middle of all that, there is one unshakable truth: God is enough. The Bible says in Lamentations 3:24: *“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will ...

Day 3 of 30: The Lord is My Shepherd

Greetings to you Beloved, trust you are doing well today. We began this journey with “The Lord is my portion,” then “The Lord is my provider.” Today, we see another deep truth: The Lord is my Shepherd. Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” What a powerful promise! A shepherd’s job is to guide, feed, and protect the sheep. The sheep do not worry about the path, food, or danger—they only follow the shepherd. In the same way, God leads us, provides for us, and keeps us safe. Sheep cannot survive without a shepherd. They easily get lost, they cannot fight off wild animals, and they cannot find good pasture on their own. That’s exactly why God chose this picture for us. Without Him, we are lost. But with Him, we are safe. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He not only leads us—He gave His life for us. That is how much He loves us. Sometimes, life feels like walking through a dark valley. We don...

Day 2 of 30: The Lord is My Provider

Beloved, trust you are doing well today.  We started yesterday with, “The Lord is my portion.” Today, we are going a step further: The Lord is my provider. I don't know if you did as I did yesterday, in my prayers throughout yesterday, I kept saying "THE LORD IS MY PORTION." Life can sometimes make us feel worried. The bills pile up, needs keep coming, and dreams feel far away. We wonder, “Will I ever have enough? Who will take care of me?” In the middle of these questions, God’s Word gives us a beautiful promise: Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice what the verse says—all your need. Not some, not a few, but all. This doesn’t mean God gives us everything we want, but it means He provides exactly what we truly need at the right time. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Think of a little child. A good parent makes sure the child has food, clothes, and shelter. The child doesn’t sit and wo...
